Is Invisalign Right for You?

Invisalign can fix most common teeth alignment problems, including:

  • Crowded Teeth (Teeth too close together)
  • Gaps/Spacing (Teeth too far apart)
  • Overbite (Upper teeth cover too much of the bottom)
  • Underbite (Lower teeth stick out past the upper teeth)
  • Open Bite (Upper and lower teeth don't meet when you close your mouth)

Common Questions About Invisalign

Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners that are custom-made for you. Each new set of aligners applies gentle, constant pressure to slowly move your teeth into the correct position over time.

The aligners are made from clear, thin plastic. While they aren't completely invisible, they are much less noticeable than traditional metal braces. Most people won't even realize you're wearing them.

For the best results, you must wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day. Only take them out when you are eating, drinking anything other than water, or brushing and flossing your teeth.

No! You take the aligners out to eat, so you can enjoy all your favorite foods without restrictions. Just make sure to brush your teeth before putting your aligners back in.

Gently brush them with a toothbrush and lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, as it can damage the plastic. You can also use the special Invisalign cleaning crystals or a mild denture cleaner for a deeper clean.

When you first start, you might have a slight lisp for a few days while your tongue adjusts. This is usually temporary and goes away quickly as you get used to wearing them.
