Key Points to Know About Your Dental Coverage
- Your dental coverage is available to students enrolled at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus who meet the eligibility requirements.
- The dental plan is provided by the University of Toronto Mississauga Students’ Union (UTMSU). Full health and dental coverage details are available on the GreenShield Student Plan Information page.
- Your myBenefits Card enables direct billing at participating dental offices.
- The Dental Plan covers up to a maximum of $750 per policy year. For treatments exceeding $500, you must submit an estimate/pre-authorization.

Additional Coverage Details
- Recall Exam Package: Includes exams, bitewing X-rays, and cleanings (up to 1 unit of polishing and 1 unit of scaling). Covered once per benefit year, starting September 1.
- Fluoride Treatments: Covered twice per benefit year for students aged 19 and under.
- Complete, General, or Comprehensive Oral Exams: Covered once every 3 years.
- X-Rays: Full-mouth and panoramic X-rays are covered once every 3 years.
Annual Maximum: $750 per policy year
